This summer has some really awesome nails trends that I wanted to share with all of you. I have the inside scoop on what’s happening on all the runways in Milan for fashion week. I also wanted to talk about how important it is to have manicured hands and why this is so important. So, here goes!
I’ll begin with the nail trends of this season. The hottest colors for this summer will be nudes, neon’s and pastels! Models were waltzing down the runways with long, nude, or neon nails with a pastel pop of color on the under side of their nails. This resembles Christian Louboutin’s shoes but on your nails! This features classic colors with a bold pop of color beneath the nail.
This summer, it’s all about bright colors! More importantly these colors will be focusing on gem stone hues. For example, some of these colors include: Emerald Green, Amethyst Purples, Topaz Blues and Opalescent Nudes. This will be all the rage during this wave of heat. Be sure to keep up with the trends and ask your nail stylist about their new colors!
Some other awesome color trends to know about are: Nudes, Metallics, and Chromes. Nudes are clean and sophisticated for the everyday working girl while metallic and chromes help make nails look more fun and help surrounding colors pop! Chromes and Metallic colors can also be mixed with the nudes to make them
Now lets talk about the perception of manicured hands. A well-manicured set of nails sends a very positive message to everyone around you. Nails can be fun while also being professional. I asked a few of our talented stylist about their opinions pertaining to the importance of manicured nails. This is what they said:
Katessa– Having my nails on point is what could make or break my business. As a nail technician I need to show my clients the talent I possess by being my own billboard. I am my own marketing so I will always have a set of perfectly polished nails. I also find it extremely important to have my nails done because it’s just plain professional. It makes me look put together and professional on a daily basis.
Nhi– I see nails as an accessory that instantly makes my clients and I feel better on a day-to-day basis and will complete any daily look. It’s also something that tells others that one is well kept.
Becky- They always look cute and it helps promote business in the salon.
Natasha- I think it makes me look more polished and professional at work. Also, it’s a form of self-expression. I love that I can tell a lot about someone’s personality by looking at their nails.
April- I find it important to keep my nails manicured because it helps me give the best scalp massages to my clients. That’s truly the only reason I keep my nails done all the time. I love my clients!
That’s all for this week! Tune in next week for more tips and tricks on beauty!
